Homeopathy Workshops

Using Homeopathy For Children's Acute Illnesses

Imagine – It’s Friday evening, the GP’s surgery is closed until Monday morning and your child is crying in pain with an earache, sore throat or tummy ache.  You take their temperature and it’s 39 degrees and rising…… Sound familiar!!

The objective of this talk is to empower you to prescribe homeopathically in such instances, giving you a clear protocol to follow including an understanding of what a fever is, why the body produces it and what to do about it – avoiding Calpol and Neurofen.

During the talk I will be covering the following:

  • “Where to Start”  This will give a clear protocol for first remedy choice, (usually involving managing a fever).
  • “What to do Next” How to identify what remedy to give following the ‘fever remedy’ depending on where the acute is (ie ears, throat, chest, etc) outlining specific acute remedy symptom pictures so you can make your choice of next remedy easily.
  • “What potency and How Often to give it”  Gives a clear protocol of the potency of remedy to give, how often to give it and how to recognise when the potency/repetition needs to be altered.
  • “What to do After the Acute”  How to bolster the immune system so the body quickly recovers energetically.

Date of next talk: Saturday 12th July 2014 12.15-2.30pm

Cost:  £25  Price includes a comprehensive handout

Venue: The Bagnall Centre   for Integrated Healthcare, 71-79 Waterside, Chesham HP5 1PE

“I thoroughly enjoyed Tracey’s talk on Treating Children’s Acutes.  I found it very interesting and enjoyable. Tracey is very knowledgeable and passionate about Homeopathy and this came across in the talk.  I now feel very confident in using my remedy kit and have since used it twice for my 2 young boys.  It is amazing to see my boys’ temperatures radically reduce, knowing that they are having a natural remedy and it works”.  Sam W. “For someone who is new to the seemingly complex world of Homeopathy, Tracey managed to simplify it and instil confidence. At the same time, she acknowledged that some people may still want to use conventional medicines initially, and gave us strategies on using these AND homeopathy, whilst being able to assess the success of homeopathy, without ‘taking risks’ (i.e. your child’s temperature increasing).  The handouts have been an invaluable reference and when the next occasion arises, homeopathy will be my first port of call. Thank you Tracey.”

Using Homeopathy for Childbirth

Childbirth is the most natural process which will ideally call for no intervention.  However, at times a woman can “get stuck” along the way, and this is when homeopathy can be used effectively to move the process forward lending a “helping hand”.  The art lies with the prescriber to read the symptoms being expressed and to match them with the indicated remedy.  Therefore as “birth partner” you need to have a clear understanding of the stages of birth and the “types” of symptoms that could call for a remedy.

This training session is aimed at “mum to be” and “birthing partner”.  I will cover the 3 stages of labour and the possible “sticking points” for which remedies can prove very effective to move the process on.  I will give a comprehensive understanding of the remedies that may be called for and how regularly to administer them.

This session includes a detailed “handout” and Helios Pregnancy and Childbirth kits will be available to purchase/order at a cost of £26.95.
