Reflexology

Reflexology is an ancient therapy originating over 4,000 years ago, in Egyptian, Chinese and Indian cultures.

It involves the application of gentle pressure to specific points on the feet and hands.  These points are called “reflexes” and they correspond to the body’s organs and structures.  When the reflexes are stimulated a signal is transmitted through the nervous system, encouraging the body to heal by clearing any imbalances returning it to it’s natural state of equilibrium.

Reflexology can be beneficial for everyone, from tiny babies to the very elderly. Generally, most clients report that a reflexology treatment is wonderfully relaxing and soothing, and many people fall asleep.

It is important to understand that reflexology is not just for helping sick people become well, it is instrumental in maintaining health and wellbeing.
