Homeopathy offers safe treatment during pregnancy. It stimulates the body’s natural healing processes and by using homeopathy during pregnancy the unborn child will automatically benefit.
Homeopathy provides effective support during labour. My experience has shown that women can often “get stuck” during labour (e.g. cervix not dilating) which can be exhausting. The administration of the right remedy “moves” the patient onto the next stage, putting the energy to its best and most effective use, which can negate the use of epidural and/or other forms of pain relief.
I treat women throughout their pregnancy and offer birth consultations whereby I see the mother to be and her birth partner giving advice and instruction on using homeopathy in labour. I encourage patients to purchase a birth kit and recommend Helios Homeopathic Pharmacy’s birth kit which I can supply during the appointment. Part of the birth consultation deals with the aftercare of both mother and newborn.
Homeopathy is safe and effective in the treatment of the newborn, strengthening immunity from the start. Homeopathy can effectively treat problems encountered with breastfeeding for both mother and child.

I can honestly say that without Tracey and Homeopathy I don't know if I would have my beautiful baby boy
I had irregular periods since I was a teenager having maybe 3 or 4 cycles a year. My GP put me on the pill at 16 to regulate them which succeeded or so I thought. I got married 4 years ago and decided to come off the pill before the wedding as my husband and I were ready to start a family and I knew it could take some months for the pill to leave my system.
As soon as I stopped the pill my periods became irregular once again, which made trying for a baby very difficult and stressful. I visited my GP who told me that I would have to have been trying to conceive for at least 2 years before they would begin to explore why my cycle was so irregular.
A friend of mine suggested I try Homeopathy as an alternative to conventional medicine, having never tried it before I was somewhat sceptical but willing to give anything a try. After an initial consultation I was sent 2 remedies, one was a constitutional remedy to balance me and the other was to ‘Jump start’ my menstrual cycle. After taking the remedy I had a period within a month and I then started having periods every 30-44 days which was great for me. I was advised to take an ovulation test each month to confirm I was ovulating, which I was.
In January 2006 I found out I was pregnant, and we were over the moon. In February I caught a nasty bug which resulted in a high temperature and vomiting violently, both of which were quite concerning to me in the early stages of pregnancy. I didn’t want to take any drugs so I contacted Tracey and once I had described my symptoms she advised me which remedy to take and how to administer it. Within an hour of first taking the remedy my temperature broke and I had stopped vomiting and was feeling much better.
By now I was becoming a firm believer in Homeopathy and after a discussion with Tracey I decided I wanted to use Homeopathy during my labour instead of the conventional methods of pain relief. That was the plan but Tracey had advised that if at any time during the labour I felt I wanted to use any of the conventional methods I wasn’t to feel under pressure, which made me feel a lot better.
I’ll spare you the gory details of my labour but using Homeopathy throughout the 3 stages of labour I only needed to take 3 breaths of gas and air at the very end (and this was just to try to stop me pushing too soon) The most incredible part for me was after the birth when my placenta had stuck and the midwife wanted to give me an injection to help deliver it. Tracey asked if she could administer a remedy before they gave me the injection which they agreed to. Within 30 seconds of the pill being placed on my tongue I started to feel the build up of a contraction and the placenta was delivered.
They next day the midwife that had delivered my son came to see me and as we discussed the labour she told me that although she was not allowed to endorse Homeopathy as she had to support conventional delivery methods she thought Tracey had been incredible and I have to agree with her. Homeopathy has also helped me after the birth to heal my stitches and help with the discomfort of breastfeeding. I can honestly say that with out Tracey and Homeopathy I don’t know if I would have my beautiful baby boy. Gaynor F, Chesham
